Dairy Processing Technology centre leads the way for the next generation dairy processing, working towards lower cost and higher quality dairy processing.

Over 150 delegates from Industry and Academia attended the Analog Devices Building at UL for the first Knowledge Day of the Dairy Processing Technology Centre (DPTC). University of Limerick are the host Centre for the DPTC. The DPTC has a total of 9 Research Performing Organisations engaged in the delivery of its research programmes. There are 8 of the major dairy companies investing in the initiative: Arrabawn Co-op, Aurivo, Carbery, Dairygold, Glanbia, Kerry, Tipperary Co-Op and Lakeland. The members were updated by the Research Principal Investigators on progress across the DPTC research programmes.
